Two issues into Christos Gage's run, X-Men Legacy looks to be in very capable hands. The writing isn't as nuanced and fine-tuned as it was under Mike Carey, but Christos Gage makes up for it by amping up the fun factor and delivering the same sort of multi-generational team book that he's been tackling with Avengers Academy.
