I'd planned on e-mailing this in response to the mail from Matt and Ted that just went out but it's throwing me mailer daemon errors. In case people didn't get the message, it said:

I am writing to let you know that TheXverse.com will be closing tomorrow. We have thoroughly enjoyed working on the site, but real life stuff has really gotten in the way for the past few months. Lack of time and money are the main things currently, as well as just not being online as much as we used to be. The site has really suffered as a result, because we just haven't been putting any of ourselves into it. The last thing we want to do is to be keeping a site online that just never updates, and therefore we will be removing it tomorrow.
Thank you for your support of the site! We have really appreciated all of the users that have contributed to the forums, and will miss the discussions and fun times that we have had!

Hi Matt and Ted,
I'm so sorry to hear that! Thank you for the work you've put in over
the years, thexverse.com has been my favourite X resource since I
discovered it in 2005. I know how hard it is to run a fansite (I run
hugh-jackman.com which is currently severely lacking in the updates
department!) so again, thank you for your effort and I wish you luck
in any future ventures!
Regards,
Niu
