The rules are quite simple, you take away one point from one name and add it to the one you want until only one name remains.

There is a thread for nominations if there is a character you'd like to see in future rounds of the game. http://www.thexverse.com/community/showthread.php?t=193
Anyone can play and consecutive posts are legal, but players must always wait 60 minutes in between votes to give other players a chance to play.

When you play, please quote the player who last played and then adjust for your move. When you are finished, please double check your score. Sometimes two players play at the same time and whoever came in last will have to adjust their score because of it.
Though simple, this can at times, be a competitive game. In order to keep things civil and fun for both winners and losers, I am going to ask that players refrain from character bashing and /or character flag waving. Just remember that one person's most hated character is probably someone else's fave. Let's play with repect for everyone. I also ask that players refrain from soliciting others to join one team or another in this game, by open post or by your signature links. It comes across as too aggressive, as though a player is rallying others to "gang up" on another player who may be less inclined to do the same. Especially so when done in other threads. Let's keep the game here in the game thread. If you wish to ask others to join the game, by all means do so, the more the merrier, but not specifically to join up with one team or another. Let's keep this from developing into something political or causing factions. It's just a game. Let's keep it simple. Thanks.
We've had problems in past games because more than one user may or may not have been sharing the same computer and router. It might have been cheating, but the excuse given was more than plausible and I really don't want to punish anyone unneccessarily when they technically have done nothing wrong. But in order to ensure that cheating does not take place I am going to add yet another rule to the games going forward. If you are sharing a computer and router with another user, only one of you can play for the alloted 60 minutes of time. That is, the same IP can only play once in that 60 minutes. It's a little unfair, yes, but it's better than saying that only one of you can play ever. I hope you will bear with me on this, but it seems to be the best way to resolve this issue for now. I am open to any suggestions. :)
